Common Questions

Nanny Hire in Dubai — FAQ

Everything families ask before booking a nanny through Excellence Center.

A live-in nanny in Dubai earns AED 1,800–2,500 per month depending on experience and nationality. Live-out nannies typically earn AED 2,000–3,000. Newborn specialists start from AED 2,500. These are salary figures — visa and placement fees are charged separately as a one-time cost.
Typically 2–4 weeks from contract signing. This covers the medical fitness test, Emirates ID application, and residency visa stamping. If your chosen nanny already holds UAE residency, she can start within days.
A live-in nanny resides in your home and works full-time — typically 6 days a week. You provide accommodation and meals. A live-out nanny commutes daily, works set hours (usually 8–10 per day), and returns to her own accommodation each evening.
Yes. We have nannies who specialise in newborn care — night feeds, sleep-routine establishment, bathing, and developmental support for babies from birth to 12 months. Most families engage a newborn nanny for 1–3 months, then transition to a standard live-in arrangement.
We currently have Filipino, Ethiopian, Ugandan, Indonesian, Indian, and Sri Lankan nannies available. Filipino and Ethiopian nannies are our most requested. You can filter by nationality using the panel above, or tell us your preference when you call.
Yes. UAE Golden Visa holders can sponsor domestic workers including nannies, provided they meet the income and accommodation requirements set by MOHRE. Excellence Center processes these applications through our Tadbeer licence.
UAE minimum wage guidance for domestic workers is AED 1,800/month for most nationalities. Filipino nannies have a bilateral agreement minimum of approximately USD 400/month (around AED 1,470). In practice, most families pay AED 1,800–2,000 to attract experienced candidates.
We offer a free replacement within the trial period. If a placement isn't the right fit, contact us and we will source and present replacement candidates at no additional placement fee. Terms apply — ask our team for details when you book.
